Straight answers, real prices, no surprises

If you are pricing photo booths for a wedding, quinceañera, birthday or company party, the hardest part is comparing quotes that include different things. This guide explains what drives the price of a photo booth rental, what should be included, and exactly what Chivo Event Services charges in Dallas and East Texas.

Short answer: our packages are $395 for a Digital iPad Booth, $495 for a DSLR Booth and $650 for a 360 Booth, each for 3 hours with delivery, setup, an attendant and a backdrop included, and no travel fees anywhere in our six counties.

Packages (3 hours)

Every package includes delivery, setup, an attendant and a backdrop. Add-ons: prints up to 200 ($250), keychain station up to 100 ($250), extra hour ($150). Or add all three to the Digital iPad or DSLR booth with the Party Pass for $550 (a $650 value; not available with the 360 booth).

No travel fees anywhere in Dallas, Rockwall, Kaufman, Ellis, Henderson and Van Zandt Counties.

What Changes the Price of a Photo Booth?

Photo booth prices vary from company to company, and the cheapest quote is not always the best deal. These are the things that change the price the most: the type of booth, how many hours you book, whether an attendant is included, whether prints are included or extra, the backdrop, and travel or mileage fees.

When you compare quotes, line them up side by side and check each of those items. A low base price can grow quickly once prints, extra time, setup or travel are added.

Checklist

What Should Be Included in a Photo Booth Rental?

Whoever you book, ask these questions before you pay a deposit:

  • How many hours of booth time are included, and what does an extra hour cost?
  • Is an attendant there the whole time?
  • Are delivery, setup and pack-up included?
  • Is a backdrop included, and can it match my theme?
  • How do guests get their photos, and are prints included or extra?
  • Are there travel or mileage fees for my venue?
  • How much is the deposit, is it refundable, and when is the balance due?
  • What does the booth need at the venue (power, space, Wi-Fi)?

For us, the answers are simple: 3 hours, attendant included, delivery and setup included, backdrop included, instant text and QR sharing, prints $250, no travel fees in our six counties, and a $100 non-refundable deposit with the balance due 7 days before your event.

Ways to Get More for Your Budget

  • Match the booth to the crowd. The Digital iPad Booth handles a big, casual crowd well at the lowest price.
  • Bundle add-ons. The Party Pass saves $100 compared with booking prints, keychains and an extra hour separately.
  • Book the hours that matter. Run the booth during cocktail hour and dancing instead of dinner.
  • Pick a local company with no travel fees for your area.
